order articles sort alphabetical
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently, all new articles are sorted alphabetically (Yay!!!!!). However, the old articles still are sorted in their original order. When I click on the Order Articles [A-Z] button, each article is given a position/weight, causing me to hit the button after each new article. I would like to see the Order Articles [A-Z] button remove the position/weight values and use the default sort, so new articles will automatically be sorted alphabetically using the new default sort order.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Having the button Order Articles [A-Z] make use of the default sort option ensures a consist sort order without having to remember to click the button every time.What are other uses for this feature request?
Reduces different methods to gain the same sorting (default order, position/weight values)The Team's Response
