You can duplicate your world's articles and, if you want, let other people duplicate them in their own worlds too. This is off by default and it's a setting individual to each article.
How to enable the option
Here's how to enable article duplication and duplicate any article on your world:
- Edit the article that you wish to enable the option for.
- In the "Preferences" tab, check the "Allow content copy" checkbox.
- Go to the article's view mode and scroll down. Next to the Like button, you'll find a new Duplicate Article button:
- When you (or anyone else) clicks the button, the article will be duplicated into the active world.
How to enable this option for myself only
If you want to duplicate one of your articles but don't want anyone else to duplicate it, follow these steps:
- Guild-only Make the article private.
- Follow the steps above to duplicate the article.
- After you've duplicated the article, disable the "Allow content copy" checkbox.
- Make the article public again.
What is copied when I use the Duplicate Article feature?
The duplicate article feature doesn’t copy everything. Here are the things that will be copied to your new article:
- Title
- Icon
- Excerpt
- Vignette
- Sidebar Sections
- Footer Sections
- RPG Block
- CSS Class
- CSS Styles
